Another wonderful event hosted by KC’s Boutique!
Nanaimo Community Hospice recently received a donation of $9,358.00 from Karen Griffin and Connie Cyr at KC’s Boutique who hosted a Fashion for Compassion spring fashion show and high tea event on April 24th at the Nanaimo Curling Club. The sold-out event attracted 200 women. Funds raised at this event will go directly to support the work of Hospice in our community.
Pictured in the photo taken in the Hospice Gardens is Karyn French, NCHS Executive Director, Connie Cyr & Karen Griffith, KC’s Boutique and Debbie Perry, NCHS Office Manager and model at the event.
“Karen Griffin and Connie Cyr of KC’s Boutique have raised just under $25,000 over the past four years with their annual event – they are truly Friends of Hospice!” said Jeanne Fahlman, Development Officer, Nanaimo Community Hospice. “On behalf of all our clients and volunteers I want to extend a huge thank you to Karen and Connie and to all those who attended and supported this event. Because of their generosity we can continue to provide free programs and services to our clients.”
